This is a unique tour referred to as an African Lion safari, this tour will take you to an adventure of a life time in to Tanzanian Northern safari circuit. You will get chance to view the cheer number of animals, predators as well as the carnivores African lions. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park-130km

This tour starts with a beautiful lunch in Arusha town by 12:30pm , immediately after enjoying your lunch, you will meet with our professional guide who will give you a briefing about the whole safari, after here, you will drive west  of the great Rift valley as well as Lake Manyara, which is famous for the tree climbing lions.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park-205kms & 6 hours

 

Have breakfast and after drive through the fresh agricultural produce which is found in the market town of Mto Wa Mbu, that is located next to lake Manyara national park entrance. This town is also a souvenir paradise which has thousands of souvenir salesmen ready to provide a slightest invitation.

This lake is one of Tanzania’s most drastically located park consisting of a shallow soda lake that is located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley of the western escarpments. The national park is also known to harbor lots of animals including the large concentration of elephants, tree climbing lions as well as the flocks of flamingos that are attracted by the algae in the lake.

We will also enjoy lunch before driving towards Serengeti National Park via the very beautiful lying farmlands of the Karutu as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Apart from leaving the highlands behind, we shall descend inside the wild Africa as well as the endless plains that roll into the distance of the eyes. Day 3: Explore Serengeti plains

We shall have a morning game drive after breakfast, this will be carried out along the Songore River circuit that loops the plains in the southern part of Seronera River and is good for watching the lions, Thomson Gazelle, ostrich, topis, as well as cheetahs. The visitor center here is also close to the lodges around and is worth a visit after the morning game drive. This centre offers some interesting wildlife displays in the gift shop as well as the park information leaflets and the maps of the area.  You can as well do some shopping of the cold drinks as well as snacks from the center, you can as well get to the picnic area and the information trail around and nearby the Kopje . Have a relaxed picnic lunch at the center under the giant acacia trees.

Later in the afternoon, we shall follow the Kopjes circuit that goes into the anti-clockwise direction around the masai Kopjes, which attract a number of lions as well as cobras. Day 4: Touring Serengeti plains for the second day

This day will offer you the opportunity to have an optional and unforgettable Hot Air Balloon flight that will be followed by the delightful champagne breakfast, immediately after the breakfast, we shall head to the south eastern side of the park , and also visit the Barafu Kopjes and the Ngare and Nanyuki River area.  For both morning and an afternoon game drives. There is also a lion pride in the area, you can as well view some cheetahs and the Ngare Nanyuki River is common for being with the packed game.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Ndutu- 80km

You will have your last day in Serengeti National Park and we shall again visit the Kopjes on your way out of the park and also have a morning game drive in the Simba Kopjes area. These Kopjes were named after the lions that frequent these kopjes to lie and bath in the sun. You will also have chance to see the baboon, and the giraffes in the area.

After here, we shall drive to Lake Ndutu which is also an alkaline, and a rift valley lake, this water is drinkable and still used by many local wildlife. We shall also have an afternoon game drive in the lake area, which offers quite a change from the open plains of this park. This area is also heavy populated with herds of elephants and birds.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater-90km & 2hours

We shall depart after having breakfast from the lodge, proceed for a morning game drive in the Naabi Hill area before we head to Ngorongoro carter via the Olduvai Gorge which is known as the cradle of mankind. This gorge also lies on the site of this ancient lake that is covered by the thick layers of the volcanic ash and is carefully preserved as the world’s earliest records of mankind that was discovered   by the Leaky family. The museum here displays most of the fascinating discoveries and the remarkable finds. After here, we shall head to Ngorongoro crater, which is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world. This crater is home to over 3,000 animals, we shall arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and spend the whole afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Exploring Ngorongoro crater

Have an early morning breakfast and after descend 600m into the crater in order to view the wildlife for a full day tour. You will view an unforgettable African wildlife adventure, which is teeming with the animals. The crater is supported by a year round water supply and the fodder, the park also supports variety of animals that include herds of zebras, buffalos, eland, warthogs, giant elephants as well as the black Rhinos. This national park is densely populated with lots of predators including; the hyenas, jackals, lions, cheetahs as well as the elusive leopards. We shall also return to the lodge for your lunch and spend the whole afternoon at leisure.

Day 8: Transfer back to Arusha-190km
